Beware telephone scammers active in Brighton & Hove. Last night a 94 year old man in Brighton was tricked into handing over his credit card and PIN number to a taxi courier after being called by a fraudster claiming to be a London police officer.
The REAL police will not ask you for your PIN over the telephone. Do not divulge this information over the telephone.
Please pass on this advice to anyone you know, especially if they are elderly or easily confused.
