At a recent meeting of the Friends of Dyke Road Park it was decided to try and establish regular work parties in the Park on the third Saturday of every month.
The first will be held from 10.30 onwards on Saturday 16 April. Everyone is welcome, for as long as they are able to stay. Our Park Ranger, Garry Meyer, will be there with the necessary equipment, but feel free to bring your own tools if you want to. We’ll be doing basic tasks such as weeding, digging, maybe pruning – anything that Steve the gardener feels would be helpful.
